fields including the PFR proprietary fee percentiles P50, P75 and P90.

Q4. Does the PFR Pricing Program import?
A4. Yes. You are able to import user defined fee and frequency schedules into S1-S5
and F1-F5 using the following formats: ASCII, Access, Dbase, Excel & Lotus. All 3
versions of the PFR Pricing Program import.
Q5. When Is the PFR updated?
A5. The PFR (Book & Pricing Program) is updated annually and typically
released in January of the current publication year. Bug fixes and patches are
available free via internet downloads.
Q6. What is the difference between the developers and all zips versions?
A6. As stated in FAQ 3, there are 3 versions of the PFR Pricing Program:
Standard, All Zips and Developer. The Developer version is an All Zip
version that exports all fields including the PFR proprietary database: P50, P75
and P90. The Developers Version requires a signed license
agreement (HTML) stating (in brief) that the proprietary PFR data base is
intellectual property that cannot be sold, posted or distributed without a

Q7. Does the PFR have all CPT codes or is specialty specific?
A7. The PFR does not have anesthesiology codes. All other specialties are
represented.
Q8. Does the PFR contain RBRVS?
A8. The PFR (book and
software) contains total unadjusted RBRVS unit values. Total refers to the
sum of work, practice and malpractice unit values. Unadjusted refers to non
geographically adjustments. Total unit values are helpful in getting a
"snapshot" relative value price or a "ball park" fee but
cannot be used to calculate Medicare fee schedules. See RBRVS

A10. Yes, you can set the main screen to any 5 digit zip code provided the 5
digit zip code is within your 3 digit zip code prefix. For example, you
purchased the Chicago zip code prefix 606. You can look up any zip code
that starts with the prefix 606 such as 60625 and 60657.
Q11. Can I upgrade to the All Zip or Developer Version?
A11. Yes, you can upgrade by paying for the upgrade version and selecting
Help-Upgrade.
